Choosing an independent school education for your child is a financial investment.

Woodland Presbyterian School offers a Christian, co-education to girls and boys ages 2 years through 8th grade. 

Woodland strives to admit students who are suited to learn in small classes with individualized learning provided by talented faculty. Woodland offers two specialized learning programs for gifted students and students who need more support. 

Tuition and fees for the 2023-2024 academic year are below. Woodland offers need-based financial assistance to approximately 30% of the student body. You may apply for financial aid through the Blackbaud Financial Aid Management portal.

Woodland Fee & School Supplies

The Woodland School Fee covers a variety of items for each grade. Please click the grades below and the "Read More" link  to review a list of what the fee covers per grade level.

The fee covers all school supplies however it it does not include the optional 7th and 8th grade spring trip.

For your convenience, the Woodland School Fee can be paid in one installment or across your payment plan.

  • Christ Methodist Student Scholarship

    Woodland Presbyterian School values the ongoing partnership with feeder schools like Christ Methodist Day School (CMDS) that share a common commitment to academic excellence, spiritual development, and building well-rounded students.
     
    The Christ Methodist to Woodland Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship of $5,000 awarded to one Christ Methodist Day School graduate. Click here for more details and to access the application which should be returned to Director of Admission Tim Tatum.
  • Memphis Opportunity Scholarship Trust (M.O.S.T.)

    The M.O.S.T. organization provides scholarships for qualifying students to attend private schools. To view the eligibility requirements and application process, visit the M.O.S.T. website. The application period for M.O.S.T. is during the month of February for the upcoming school year.
  • Education Savings Account Program

    Woodland accepts a limited number of ESA students each year (new ESA students must begin in SK, 1st, or 2nd grade) and families should contact the Tennessee Department of Education for questions about qualifications. Click here for more information.

Fees, Financial Assistance, and Payment Plans

  • Fees

    Each grade has an annual Woodland Fee explained in more detail in the tuition section above. Another fee that may be assessed in addition to tuition is the Tuition Refund Protection Plan.

    Families are required to purchase the Tuition Refund Protection Plan unless they choose the one-month or two-month payment plan. The Tuition Refund Protection Plan is 2.6% of the total yearly tuition.

  • Financial Assistance

    Each year, Woodland Presbyterian School makes available a limited amount of funds to assist families who cannot meet the full cost of tuition. Here you will find Woodland's Financial Assistance Policy, as well as the Core Principals of Woodland's Financial Assistance Program.

    To apply for Financial Aid, access Blackbaud Financial Aid Management and follow the directions given. There is a small fee required to process this application. Once completed, the application will be available immediately for the Financial Aid Committee’s review. You may be contacted by the Business Office if additional information is needed.
  • Payment Plans

    Woodland offers multiple payment options for parents, including a 12-month payment plan that begins in June. The first payment for all payment plans is due no later than July 15. For your convenience, extended payment plans begin as early as June 1.
