INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES SPECIALIST & 5TH-8TH GRADE COMPUTER SCIENCE/STEM TEACHER
Job title: Information Technologies Specialist and 5th- 8th Grade Computer Science/STEM Teacher
Information Technologies Specialist Primary Purpose: To maintain, support, and troubleshoot the IT needs of teachers, administrators, and students, including the planning and deployment of the 1:1 laptop program for seventh and eighth grade students.
Teaching Primary Purpose: To design and implement creative, engaging, and differentiated STEM/Computer Science lessons that allow each student the opportunity to reach their God-given potential in a way that supports the mission and values of the school.

AFTER-SCHOOL CARE COUNSELORS: After-School Care Counselors are in charge of children age 2 through eighth grade that stay after school. In this role, your duties could include leading a variety of activities, games, serving snacks, helping students with homework.
After-School Care Counselors are in charge of children age 2 through eighth grade that stay after school. In this role, your duties could include leading a variety of activities, games, serving snacks, helping students with homework. After-school care counselors offer students the chance to be productive and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
Successful After School Care Counselors possess the following qualities and/or skills:
- Strong communication skills, counselors must be able to talk with students and colleagues about the progress of children in their care
- Patience and strong decision-making skills
- Instructional and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to regularly sit, turn, bend, reach, walk, talk, hear and visually observe students and the environment
- Ability to follow and enforce safety policies
- Flexibility and adaptability to new situations
- Assist in recreation programs
- Assist with student check‐in/out
- Attend all training meetings
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors
- Must be 18 years old or older and be able to pass a background and reference check
Work Hours and Compensation:
The position of After School Care Counselor is a seasonal position that is paid once a month, starting salary is $10/hour. The daily hours worked vary but run no longer than 2:30-6:30; a specific work schedule is created upon hire.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assume all duties and responsibilities of regular classroom teacher;
• Follow lesson plans provided by classroom teacher and facilitate learning opportunities for students;
• Supervise students throughout daily routine in a variety of settings;
• Communicate effectively and interact with students and staff (With parents, as necessary);
• Provide an environment and climate conducive to the cognitive, educational, social, emotional, and physical development of children;
• Other duties as requested.Knowledge/Experience/Physical Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Education or a related field
• Experience working with children, preferably as a classroom teacher
