Thank you to many of you that completed the Summer Camp Survey last week. Your input was extremely valuable as we continue to plan for summer camp programs. Yesterday afternoon, the Shelby County Health Department issued a Health Directive that asked public/private summer camp and athletic camps to remain closed for the time being. As a result, we are unable to share a specific date for summer camp programs on campus. Our nurse staff is working diligently on finalizing our health and safety procedures that would be used when we do return. We will be ready to share that information as soon as we have a return date for summer camp.
We are hopeful that we will be able to begin summer camp programs on campus during the month of June but at this time, we do not know if that will be possible. We do know that we will not have summer camp programs on campus before June 15th. However, our BLAST Summer Camp Director, Mrs. Murrey Enterline, will offer a few virtual programs during the first two weeks of summer for those that are interested. Be on the lookout for offerings in upcoming communications.
Thank you for your patience and continued support as we seek to serve our Woodland families this summer!
