4.16.2020 A Note from Mr. Moore: The Woodland Community Remains Strong

Good Morning Woodland,

Yesterday afternoon Governor Lee announced that all schools should remain closed for the remainder of the school year. While this was certainly not what we hoped for, it is the advice that Woodland will follow. Woodland will continue with remote learning through the end of the school year. Our teachers will continue to adjust our remote learning plans in order to meet the needs of our students and ensure our students are well prepared.

Woodland’s team has also been planning ways to celebrate and close out the school year. While this will certainly look different, we want to celebrate our students and school year. In particular, we are planning some extra special ways to celebrate the Class of 2020. Details regarding end of year events will be coming out over the next several weeks.

At this time, Woodland BLAST Summer Camp is set to begin as scheduled. We will continue to monitor this situation, if there are any changes to summer camp we will communicate those as soon as decisions have been made.

Thank you for your continued support of Woodland!
