Titans Teacher of the Week
Students, parents, principals, colleagues, or anyone who would like to recognize an outstanding teacher in the Tennessee Titans radio listening area are encouraged to submit nominations for the 2010 American Paper & Twine Co. and Georgia-Pacific Teacher of the Year.
American Paper & Twine Co., Georgia-Pacific Communication Papers and Titans Radio strongly believe that America’s future depends on teachers successfully educating our children. The American Paper & Twine Co. and Georgia-Pacific Teacher of the Year program will recognize deserving public and private school teachers in grades Pre-K through 12 throughout the entire Titans radio listening area who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty and inspire their students to succeed in school and in life. Booster Thon Fun Run
The Booster Thon Fun Run will be Friday, Sept. 3rd. Parents are encouraged to come to the Fun Run. Please feel free to bring handmade signs to root them on and water soakers to keep them cool! Every student will participate in the run and receive a Fun Run T-shirt the day of the event to wear. Please send your child to school Friday wearing tennis shoes, T-shirt and athletic shorts no more than 3 inches above the knee. Middle school students should wear their PE shorts. We also ask that your child bring an extra change of clothes to change into after the run.
On September 3rd, the Preschool will run at 8:30; 1st -5th grades at 9:30; Middle School at 10:30. The classes who turn in all of their pledge money by Friday, September 10th will win an ice cream sundae party during lunch. The class who raises the most pledge dollars will win a Wings & Pizza Party.
Have Fun! Go get those pledges!
